Physical Therapist


Duties and Responsibilities:Physical therapists typically create plans that involve stretching, strength training, exercises and physical manipulation to help people recover. They are experts at what the body can do, and will educate patients and families about what is possible, and keep patients motivated during ongoing therapy.
Salary: $79,860
Education: In order to work as a physical therapist, you must complete a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree program. As of 2014, there were 228 physical therapy programs accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE), most of which last three years.
Demand for this profession: Yes there is Demand for this medical career pathways. There will be people who need the help that they can get from a PT (physical therapist).

Reflection: Do you think you would like to be one? Why? Why not?
I would not mind becoming a Physical Therapist. It pays good money, i have the chance to help others and motivate them. I get to be the person who says even though they have a disability or are severely hurt, doesn't mean you have to do less or think you're below someone else who is perfectly healthy.
