Class Evaluation

1. Some things i liked about this class is during free time you can sit with a friend or work on other class assignments. 
2. I did not like that fact that i have this class right after p.e because i fall asleep easily.
3. Some ways to improve are picking student success statements from authors and other famous people that we are actually aware of.
4. The highlight for me was the CTR song.
5. Yes although i was forgetful since I'm always rushing to this class i almost always forgot my life planning notebook.
6. Yes i am. Especially since i hardly bring it to class i try and make up for lost time.
7. Yes i am committed to being a CTR person. If i am a CTR person i will not only have the respect i deserve but more opportunities will come my way. Beside i would like to go to sleep without a guilty conscience.
8. I learned that there is always the choice to choose the right. I will pass this on to my younger sibling's because it the young ones that need us to show them how to behave and be a good person. Not only to the people they like but everyone period.
9. I will remember everything. There is not one forgetful moment in this class.

Student Success Statement

“ You will go far with CTR”   -Mr.Haymore

I believe this quote is telling us that choosing the right is always a choice. Also that choosing the right is the best choice. Being a CTR student isn’t about looking good in front of others or doing something only because someone else told you it the right thing to do. Being a CTR person is way more than that. If you are a CTR person you will look good without trying. You will have people confiding and respecting you at every turn. Most importantly you will be a good person in your own eyes and have a clear conscience everyday.

Being a CTW person i way different from being a CTR person. Someone who is choosing the wrong is always getting into trouble. They don't care about collateral damage. All they care about is doing what they want and getting their way. Be a CTR person not a CTW one...

This quote shows if you have good characteristic traits then the world would become a better place. Even though that's not possible. I believe in education. A person can always learn to become better if they set their mind to it. The problem with this quote is that not everyone has the chance to have good characteristic traits. Some are born disabled and for that they are mad and take it out on everyone and that's understandable. The world was a beautiful place until we made it ugly. All this technology is making it ugly. No one wants to go outside and plant something or play with a ball. Everyone would rather be stuck on there phone. This is why the economy is crashing and no one knows because they can’t see it. Despit what i’ve said i do believe that people can make there home peaceful. If you have children then you can teach them to be good and loving and marry someone who is the same. You can even live alone. Even then sometimes we don’t get a say. Nowadays it's scary to live alone. Everything is way more violent. As for Technology… There is still way more to go and it's making things easier which is obviously good for the rich but not the rest of us.  Jobs are running out and things like quotes won’t help. The world will become more ugly than we know and it's already started but everyone is so stuck they can’t see. This is all our fault. I completely disagree with this quote.

UCLA Shootings

Shootings at UCLA

Yesterday before noon there was a gunman with a kill list on the UCLA campus. This was not just a shooting it was murder suicide. The gunman attacked the engineering school specifically a professor named Professor William S. Klug. LAPD, Swat, Ambulances and Authorities were involved in this situation trying to help those in need. They did a thurow search of the campus and all 400,000 students.After noon the situation was handled. Students were still shaky and frightened but the threat was no longer a threat to them.

The Minnesota gunman was identified as Mainak Sarkar,  and had also killed a woman in a small town far from LA. The Gunman also had another professor on the kill list that survived and killed another student. Classes for the engineering school will be canceled for the rest of the week.

This relates to me because i want to be the person that tries to save there life after a tragic event like this. Weather it’s becoming a therapist or its me being in the medical room helping them with any wounds.If i don’t pick any of those career pathways then i will most likely be an officer try to pin the gunman down.

Summary

Summary…

Malik Stewart is a smart kid. He has a father that has terminal cancer so he set himself a goal. The goal was to win a state championship. Not for him but for his Dad. Malik worked his way to the top.He worked out got up early ate the right things and got good grades so that he can accomplish his goals.  Stewart succeeded in achieving his goal. He stripped the other student from the championship. Usually what happens in that situation is that person is so mad and so nerve wrecked that they storm off but not this person. Maliks component is a sophomore student and former wrestling champion. He not only embraced Malik for winning and working hard, he also embraced his father. That's not something you see every day.

The opponent is still a winner and showed everyone that there still are some good people out there. He failed honorably instead of winning by cheating like Roman Chapa. Roman Chapa won by cheating. Is it really winning if you cheated? I don’t think so. People Cheat because they have no hope for themselves. Roman should be like that component.Even if he did lose atleast he would have failed with honor.

“I would prefer even to fail with honor than win by cheating.”   -Sophocles

This quote says a lot. Not only about honor but about self respect and dignity. You can cheat and have no one ever find out about it. Then that also leads to more lies. Lies that you tell yourself and lies that you tell other people. If you avoid lying and cheating all together then if u win you’ll know it's because you deserve it. When you lie and cheat you're not only hurts yourself but those around you as well.

Memorial Day Weekend

Memorial Day Weekend

This year I didn’t celebrate Memorial Day. I was too busy moving my stuff into another room so that my brothers and future step brother could have mine. Which doesn't really make sense because now i have a future step sister and that room is too small for all 4 of us. In addition, it’s even worse because i have almost no more patients.

I can make this work if i'm in charge. I would like to but in another shelf for my speakers and a banner of some kind. Kinda of how i imagine my future dorm room to look. Although i know they’ll fight me on everything. I already know they have no intentions on making this easy for me. My sisters and future step sister are the main reason i feel like not having kids.
