Student Success Statement

“ You will go far with CTR”   -Mr.Haymore

I believe this quote is telling us that choosing the right is always a choice. Also that choosing the right is the best choice. Being a CTR student isn’t about looking good in front of others or doing something only because someone else told you it the right thing to do. Being a CTR person is way more than that. If you are a CTR person you will look good without trying. You will have people confiding and respecting you at every turn. Most importantly you will be a good person in your own eyes and have a clear conscience everyday.

Being a CTW person i way different from being a CTR person. Someone who is choosing the wrong is always getting into trouble. They don't care about collateral damage. All they care about is doing what they want and getting their way. Be a CTR person not a CTW one...

This quote is saying that many people don't have enough will power to quite what isn't good for them. For example, peer pressure can lead to a bad decision to smoking and smoking can lead to an addiction. Since smoking tobacco was such a large sensation back in the days many people still smoke today. If you started smoking at a young age and still smoke as an adult it become hard to quite. Addictions are easy to get but very hard to quite. What a person needs is will power and courage to stop everything bad in their life or else they might become unhealthy. Unhealthy in a physical mental or maybe even in a social way.

This quote is also saying if you are somewhere in the middle then you should start and continue what you must do. For example, High School students get okay grades and some think nothing about the future. What they must start is planning ahead and saving up for what every they need. Plans don't always go your way though so you must be prepared to fail at times. As you fail you must get back up and continue to do what you planned on and stick to it because that's your future and it mainly affects you.

This statement implies that if you make the right choices you will have integrity. Integrity means to be honest or have honor. Honor in this case means being strong minded and sticking to your gut feelings no matter what. For example, If you have friends are bad influences your gut will tell you to stop hanging around them, but for some reason you might not. They might do drugs, get arrested, drink alcohol and have many STD's from one night stands . Although they do all these bad things there the "cool kids" and if you stop hanging out with them you have no chance at being popular. Its peer pressure that makes you hang with them. You know u shouldn't because your gut tells you not to and when you go against your gut instinct you will choose the wrong choice. 

Many people hang out with the wrong crowds at first. As soon as you finally realize you are hanging with the wrong crowd you'll regret many things. Maybe it could be what you've said maybe it could be something that you did. As long as you face your problems you still have a chance to get back on track. Just don't realize it till its to late because then you'll just live you're life in regret.
