Student success Statement

"A good name is rather to be chosen that great riches."  -Proverbs 22:1



This quote is meaning to say that the riches will not mean anything if you don't have a good name. The reason it would not mean anything is because if you have riches a great house, pools etc, you will be missing out on the more important things like love and affection. What i mean to say is great riches will mean nothing if you have no one to share it will. Of course you can adopt or you can somewhere along the line fall in love but you'll hardly have time and even if you make time it will always be a struggle. It would be a struggle because some might not love you for you. They might just love the thought of them getting whatever they want at any cost.



Most people may not see your a real person at first. They might just see the size of your wallet. Sometimes they might get with you for your money then fall in love along the way, but what does it matter if that wasn't your first intention. People now a days are forgetting how love is supposed to be. If a girl breaks a guys heart the guy will go around and ruin her good name and vise versa. The whole point of a good name is to be a good person and choose the right so that when your hurt and someone tries to bring down others can back you up and say how wonderful you are, and what a good person you are.

Student Success Statement (Right)

                     This quote shows that you should always be a good influence on your friends and encourage them to always do the right thing even if it's not always easy. By saying "Have the moral courage to be a light for others to follow." , Monson is encouraging us to be so good that our peers will see us as a good influence. The good influence that they would want to follow. If you are a good influence to your peers then you will have this certain confidence on yourself.                                                                                                                                                                     Not only will you have confidence in yourself but others will have confidence in you as well. This type of confidence will not come easy though. It will never come easy but it will always be rewarding. The reward is faith, many people will have faith in you just like you will hopefully have faith in yourself to do the right thing. For example, If you become an out standing student always to your work and always being obedient then you will have advantages that others don't. Although if you don't behave and start going down the wrong path people will soon lose faith in you and after a while you will start to lose faith in yourself.

Student Success Statement (choice)

             I believe this quote means you have to work for success. Nothing will ever come easy to you everything you want or desire you will have to work for. For example, If you choose to go to college that would be a choice you make. Just like its a choice to do drugs and drop out of high school. If you drop out of high school then how will you get into a good college. Its the choice that determine if you become successful or not its never an accident. 

          When stein asks if our habits are included in our dreams he means to tell us to let all the bad habits go. With the bad habits we will make bad choices. The purpose of this quote is to get us and tell us to make the right choice. In order to make the right choices we must get rid of our bad habits never give up and be a CTR person.

           

Student success statement (obedience)

"Obedience.. Is the primary object of all sound education." -

I believe this quote is meaning to apply to school. Without a good education you will never get anywhere in life. If you are disobedient in school yet always attend all your work will be for nothing. That's if you decide to do work. Being disobedient in school is a poor choice because if you don't follow rules, never complete assignments, and never complete homework you would be wasting someones time and interrupting the time for people who value and cherish their education. If you don't have a proper education you will not graduate high school. If you do not graduate high school most likely you will not get into college. If you do not have a college career then you will never get a stable job that can help you support yourself for the rest of your life. And also, if you don't have a stable job then you will worry way to much and that would put a strain on your health. Yet all of these factors can be avoided if you be obedient in school and continue your education.
